The Festival and Congress Centre-Varna is created in 1986. Since it`s beginning it turned into the centre of the most prestigious events in the sphere of arts and culture. Here, except for the artistic events and festivals, there have been organized scientific meetings, seminars; different companies have been celebrating their jubilees. Till now, despite the difficult years of the transitional period, when it lost the country`s financial support, the Festival and Congress Centre-Varna has not only been preserving it`s territories, but even gained new ones. The FCC-Varna has become the face of Bulgaria in such prestigious international congress organisations like ICCA, EFCT, AIPC and in the only one pan-European chain of cinemas – Europa Cinemas to the European Union.

Some of the most prestigious events of which the Festival and Congress Centre-Varna is a co-organiser are: the Festival of the Bulgarian Film the Golden Rose, the Festival of the European film co-productions, the International Music Festival Varna Summer, the Theatre Festival of Varna, the International Choir Competition, the International May Choir Competition, the International Ballet Festival, Varna edition of the European Music Festival of Radio FM Classic, the Christmas and May Salon of Arts – Varna, the International Children Festival of Arts, etc. In 1993 the Festival and Congress Centre-Varna became the initiator and organizer  of the International Film Festival Love is Folly, which is the only international film festival with a film competition programme that has been organised on the territory of our country and with its 18 editions it has turned to be a card of the Bulgarian culture in a world scale.

Varna FCC is situated at the most attractive place in the centre of Varna itself, at the entrance of the Sea Garden, at a 100 m from the beach, where the number of people is always big.
